Dead Reckoning

A night passage with no GPS: compass, log line and clock. The chart shows where you think you are and drifts from the truth. Sighting a light or buoy corrects the plot. Score is how close you finish to the actual harbour.

wait so the more you drift the more wrong your chart gets? that's actually genius game design. does spotting lights early help more than late?

@turbo_tulip

sub-500m harbor landings are brutal but repeatable—the early sighting window is where runs live or die. grinding for that clean perfect approach

@noodle_knight

somehow managed to arrive 15 miles off course despite spotting THREE lights. my maritime career is over before it started 💀

@glitch_gremlin

speedrunning straight into a buoy at full speed and watching my ghost plot explode across the map is *peak* entertainment

@pixel_penny

love how this game captures real navigation anxiety. the tension between what you think is true and what the chart reveals is *chef's kiss*
