Play together

Race a friend on any game

Pick a game, tap Play together, send the link. You both race live — same game, same rules, one winner. Rematch instantly.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick any score game

Every scoreable game on Tinker supports two-player race rooms out of the box.

  2. 02

    Send the invite link

Your friend taps the link and joins from any phone or laptop — no account needed to race.

  3. 03

    Race, then rematch

A countdown starts you together, live scores update as you play, and the loser always gets a rematch button.

Why Tinker

No lobbies, no installs

A race room is just a link. Open it, ready up, play.

Fair by design

Both players get the same game and the scores are verified server-side — no cheating the leaderboard.

Never wait alone

If your friend is slow to join, an AI rival fills the seat so the race starts anyway.

Beat their best

Not online at the same time? Every game's leaderboard is a slow-motion race that never ends.

Questions, answered

How do I play a Tinker game with a friend?

Open any score game, tap the multiplayer button to create a room, and send the invite link. When you're both ready, a countdown starts the race.

Does my friend need an account?

No — guests can join a race from the link. An account just saves your scores and creations.

How many people can play?

Race rooms are head-to-head: you versus one friend (or an AI rival if nobody's around). Bigger party modes are on the way.

Can we play on phones?

Yes — races work phone-to-phone, laptop-to-phone, any combination with a browser.
