The whole assignment

Make the thing you’d stop scrolling to play.

  1. 01

    Choose your idea

Pick a mechanic, story, challenge, quiz, toy, or tiny world that feels like yours. Original beats elaborate.

  2. 02

    Build and playtest

Describe it to Tinker, try a complete run on your phone, and make at least one improvement before publishing.

  3. 03

    Publish and take your place

Your bit automatically joins the permanent showcase. The first 30 public entries that meet the requirements receive the next founder number.

What qualifies

  • It boots and a complete run can be played on a phone.
  • Controls, scoring, results, and restart behavior work.
  • The concept is original and meaningfully different from existing entries.
  • It contains no franchise characters, trademarks, or unlicensed assets.
  • It stays public through the sprint window.

What stays with you

  • A permanent, numbered Founding Creator badge on your profile.
  • Your bit and creator name in the permanent Founding 30 showcase.
  • A visible founder mark wherever your recognized bit appears.
  • Three standout entries earn Best Gameplay, Most Original, or Community Favorite and featured feed placement.

Starting a draft does not reserve a number. One recognized entry per creator. You keep the rights you have in your work and grant the licenses described in Tinker’s Terms.
